[FEATURE] Now it can be told, PSITE NCR welcomes the newest Dean in town

Now it can be told… PSITE NCR welcomes the newest Dean in the block! 

Dr. Milani Austria, past PSITE NCR president, and an active member of the PSITE NCR community, is now the Dean of Technological Studies of Jose Rizal University (JRU) since she assumed the role on 15-August-2011.  Among her duties include the implementation of the strategic plans of the university, curricular review and reforms,  implementation of JRU’s research agenda, and the supervision of the academic welfare of their students.

Lani, as we fondly call her, obtained her PhD degree in Technology Education from the Rizal Technological University in 2006.  She started her career in JRU in 1992 as a faculty member, then inched her way up to hold positions as department chair and assistant dean.

Incidentally, our December MSW + PSITE NCR members Chrstmas party will be held at JRU on 13-Dec-2011, and Dean Lani is gracious enough to allow us to hold it there!  Please refer to the PSITE NCR calendar and click the date for further details.  Thank you so much, Dean Lani.  Mabuhay ka, ang JRU at ang PSITE NCR!
